How long should I wait to shower?
Our standard solutions require 6-8 hours of wear before rinsing, while our rapid solution needs 2-4 hours. For a light tan, wait 2 hours, 3 hours for a medium tan, and 3.5-4 hours for a deep tan.
What tan solution is right for me?
We’ll assess your skin and recommend the perfect solution at your appointment.
When should I book my spray tan?
What should I wear to my tanning appointment?
Loose, dark clothing and flip flops or sandals are recommended to avoid flaws in your tan during development.
What do I wear during my tan?
You can undress to your comfort level, and we provide disposable hair caps and “sticky feet” sole covers. Male clients must wear undergarments.
Do I really need to exfoliate before my tan?
Yes, please! Exfoliation improves circulation, encourages new skin cells, and enhances your tan.
How long will the tan last?
Typically, it lasts 7-10 days depending on after-care. Use a tan extender like Sjolie’s Tan Extend and a tan-friendly body wash to prolong and maintain your tan.
How else do I maintain my tan?
Regular moisturizing and hydration are key. Consider a moisturizer designed for tan longevity, like Sjolie Tan Extend. Pat yourself dry after showering.
Should I get a spray tan for a wedding or big event?
Absolutely! It’s the healthiest way to achieve the desired color and glow. We recommend a test tan at least two weeks prior to make adjustments if needed.
What is the solution, and how does it work?
Our solution contains Dihydroxyacetone (DHA), derived from raw sugar cane and FDA-approved for cosmetic use. DHA reacts with amino acids in your skin to create a tan. Allergic reactions are rare but consult your physician if concerned.
