moisturize, restore, soothe, firm

Our Eye Balm is a rich and concentrated moisturizer, formulated specifically to strengthen the delicate area around the eyes. Each vibrant, thoughtfully chosen plant in this Balm was included to reduce inflammation, stagnation, and puffiness. Our potent botanicals firm and support connective tissue, reducing the appearance of fine lines and dark circles. Eye Balm provides vital nourishment and antioxidants to prevent and repair free radical damage.

Eye Balm: Delicate Concentrate includes resveratrol and flavonoid rich Cranberry, Red Grape and Bilberry. These types of nutrient dense fruits work to firm and strengthen the skin. Anti-inflammatory plants like Licorice, Lavender and Helichrysum work to soothe the eye area, reducing any puffiness and stagnation. Nutritive tonic herbs infuse for 3 lunar cycles for this Balm – Fennel, Nettle and Chamomile – each one a supportive herb for overall eye health.

The primary difference between Eye Balm and Eye Serum is in the texture: the Eye Balm provides a richer moisture, which many prefer for nighttime repair.

Ingredients

Lavender – Our custom-distilled, California-grown, biodynamic Lavender essential oil is anti-inflammatory and reduces puffiness. It is calming and cooling to the skin, and soothing to the nervous system.

Red Grape Seed Oil – One of our most potent seed oils, this is not Grape Seed Oil as most know it. It is a deep forest green and smells of grapes; these are indicators of its quality and purity. Its scent and color indicate its high vitamin and nutrient content. This oil is deeply restorative to cellular damage and is specific to the delicate eye area.

Evening Primrose Seed Oil – Freshly pressed and produced exclusively for our line, this California-made oil reduces inflammation, stagnation, and puffiness. This delicate yet hearty yellow flower aids in reducing the appearance of fine lines and broken capillaries by firming and strengthening.

Bilberry – This tiny potent berry, relative of the blueberry, contains flavonoids and antioxidants that strengthen blood vessels and capillary walls for a reduction in the appearance of dark circles, broken capillaries and an increased firmness of the skin.

Cranberry Seed Oil – Cranberry Seed’s unique nutrient profile includes Omegas 3, 6 and 9, resveratrol, phospholipids, and phytosterols, which makes this a standout oil for vibrant-aging, as well as inflammatory conditions. This lightweight, tannin-rich oil has been found to repair and prevent cellular damage, including damage induced by UV rays.

Usage

Apply a very tiny amount (about 1/8 of a pea size) of Eye Balm to the under eye area and follow around the orbital bone. Avoid tear duct and lash lines. Apply to clean skin prior to primary moisturizer.

Use within 6 months of opening and by the recommended use-by date, which is found on the bottom of the bottle. Store this product in a cool, dry and dark place.

If your Balm melts in transit, it could have textural changes that make it less smooth. While this does not affect product performance, a smooth Balm texture is often more desirable. Do not leave your Balm in a hot location like your car or near a sunny window

Laurel says

A Relaxing Puffiness-Reducing Ritual
Admittedly, I am the first person to skip the eye products in my own skin ritual. But when I do take that extra step, especially with an added eye and brow massage, it turns into a stress relieving ritual. It makes a difference in not only the appearance of my eyes, but also in how I feel. Puffiness stems from things like lymph stagnation, overall inflammation, and is often connected to kidney health and blood pressure. These are things not addressed in a topical eye product, but when combined with massage and compressing, a notable difference can be seen.

After or while cleansing the skin, press a warm towel into the face, neck and chest. Repeat this process for as long as it feels good. This will support lymphatic and circulatory pathways, reducing puffiness in the eyes and face. After compressing, apply Elixir generously. Then apply Eye Balm to the orbital bone below the eye. Massage the eye in a circular motion: using inward circles that go from the lower orbital bone, up to the brow bone, and then back down and inward again. Press and hold gently just below the brow bone, as you take a deep inhale. All self massage should be intuitive and feel good, and there is no need to overthink it. Finish your skin ritual with more Elixir and a Serum.
